Adrian Irvine is a Toronto-based violinist, violist, producer, composer, and arranger whose career sits at the intersection of orchestral performance and contemporary music production. He holds a Master’s degree in Violin Performance from the University of Toronto and an undergraduate degree from Memorial University of Newfoundland, where he studied composition, orchestration, and production with award winning composer Andrew Staniland. Adrian brings a deep technical foundation to a highly versatile creative practice.

As a founding member of Strings from Paris, Adrian has performed extensively across North America, appearing alongside globally recognized artists including Ms. Lauryn Hill, Russ, Charlotte Cardin, Charlotte Day Wilson, Justin Nozuka, and Westside Boogie. The group is known for translating string performance and classical sensibilities into modern music contexts, spanning hip-hop, R&B, and alternative pop.

Adrian’s work extends deeply into the commercial and media space. Through his work with MP Music House, he has co-written, produced, and arranged music for multiple international campaigns for AstraZeneca, with broadcasts across major US networks. He has also contributed as a composer on campaigns for Google (Gemini), the McLaren Formula 1 team, and KPMG.

His live and broadcast credits include arranging the string parts for the Canadian national anthem at the Grey Cup, as well as performing in orchestral settings for major international sporting broadcasts, including the World Series opener in Toronto. He recently performed with Strings from Paris alongside The Beaches for their JUNO Awards broadcast appearance. His production and arrangement work was also featured on The Voice UK in STORRY’s 2024 semi-final performance.

As a recording musician, Adrian’s violin and viola work appears across a wide range of releases and genres, with credits including Sickick, Charlotte Cardin, Katie Tupper, Cadence Weapon, Rêve, and Nicolina Bozzo. His contributions have been part of multiple JUNO-nominated projects across Contemporary Classical and Pop categories, and he was a performer on Lotusland by Aaron Paris, which won Instrumental Album of the Year at the 2026 JUNO Awards.

In parallel with his performance and session work, Adrian is an active producer and songwriter. As a staff writer/producer at MP Music House since 2023, he has contributed over 200 songs to their catalogue, with production credits including Jesse Gold, Ethan Low, FIFTEENAFTER, ERLY, Kofi, and STORRY.

Adrian’s work is defined by a rare combination of high-level string performance, contemporary production fluency, and a deep understanding of how music functions across records, live performance, and visual media.
